Twin Gables of Woodstock

We have a new favorite place to stay in Woodstock. Right on Tinker Street, Twin Gables is the perfect location in the perfect downtown. We stayed in the cozy room 5. This second floor room comes with a comfy bed, a little daybed, desk and a chair. Enough room to spread out comfortably. The bathroom is updated with a nice powerful shower. After your restful night's sleep, LeAnne (your welcoming host) will have a wonderful breakfast ready for you to start your day. We had yogurt with fruit and granola, warm blueberry muffins and a croissant. And with a communal table, you never know who you'll meet. Getting there is easy. While the entrance is right on Tinker Street, there are four parking spots on the side, or ample street parking on Neher Street (at least in November). Book early and maybe we'll see you there on our next trip.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this warm and wonderful hotel. It brought to life stories of the incredible Woodstock concert and event we'd all heard about for decades. The open and comfortable bed and breakfast layout brought us together with other families from around the world, which was both enjoyable and heartwarming. And throughout our visit we were meticulously cared for by the amazing concierge and caregiver, LeAnn! She singlehandedly made us all feel Woodstock love and acceptance! Our visit to Twin Gables was one we will never forget and look forward to repeating in the future!

Such a fabulous stay at the charming cosy Twin Gables B&B. The rooms are full of character and charm with comfortable beds and linen. To wake in the morning and enjoy a complimentary delicious continental breakfast was a lovely bonus! We will be back!

This review is three months overdue, but worth every second of me writing it. My husband and I arrived at Twin Gables immediately after a celebration of life for my mom in Troy, NY, and without us saying a word, LeAnn could, somehow, read on our faces that we needed some extra TLC. She was able to upgraded our room to a quieter location and showed a level of thoughtfulness that went beyond hospitality. The unexpected parting gift was especially meaningful — I’ll never forget feeling so genuinely seen and cared for by someone I had just met. Centrally located, quirky, and charming. We would absolutely come back.

We stayed 3 nights in January to do some hiking and skiing. The room was cozy and clean, breakfast was simple and just right to get the day started with a little extra room for local brunch :) Leanne was super friendly and helpful (she even sent us with some breakfast on the go when we left a little early for skiing!). We’d absolutely stay here again next time we’re in town.

My sister and I met in Woodstock for a sisters weekend. We stayed at the fabulous Twin Gables Inn and had an amazing time. LeAnn, the Inn Keeper was welcoming and helpful. She has the remarkable ability to treat her guests like they are people she has known for years but she is also respectful of space and privacy. She was spot on with her recommendations for a winter walk, snowshoeing spots and amazing meals. The Inn is funky, well maintained and comfortable. It snowed the entire time we were there (2 days) and outside it was cold but thanks to the heat pump in our room and the fireplace in the lounge, we were cozy. The Inn is right on Tinker Street and close enough to walk everywhere we went except the Ashokan Reservoir where we went snowshoeing. I highly recommend Twin Gables and am looking forward to my next visit.

I have a son and family living in Woodstock and have stayed at Twin Gables before. This time my son and family from uk also came and so we occupied three rooms. We were having a special ‘all the family together Christmas’ and also celebrating my 80th birthday. I just cannot describe how wonderful our week was - made so by the innkeeper LeAnn who is a very special person. She made it feel as though we were in our own home and even provided several special treats to help us celebrate the season. The owners of Twin Gables are very lucky to have her there - I saw her making everyone staying so very welcome. Suffice it to say that I will ALWAYS be booked into this beautiful boutique hotel for every visit I make to Woodstock. Thank you so much LeAnn - can’t wait to be with you again in the spring!

Amazing experience! Lee Ann was absolutely Wonderful, thoughtful and so very knowledgeable regarding the Woodstock area. Delicious breakfast, charming atmosphere, extremely clean and just an amazingly charming atmosphere. Absolutely the best Inn to stay in Woodstock, NY. Hands down, well worth the trip. You will not be disappointed!
